GLASS BLOCKS
Glass bricks are widely used as a structural and architectural material and can replace common bricks.
They have an air gap inside and their typical shape is that of a rectangular parallelepiped, with the most common dimension being 19x19x8cm.
In addition to the common glass bricks, there are also the angular (90 degree) and terminal bricks. Terminal glass blocks, single or double terminals, with a curved surface on one or two sides respectively, are used at the edge of the wall when it must be free in space.
The main advantages of glass blocks are as follows:
Light transmittance – Up to 75% light transmission
Thermal insulation
Soundproofing
High impact resistance and safety
No need for plastering and painting
Replace windows where they are prohibited
Provide ventilation either with special metal windows that are tilting and contain glass blocks instead of glass, or with ventilation glass blocks (ventilation glass blocks) or with plastic windows
Easy installation
